ODST OST hands down: http://www.bungiestore.com/Halo-3-ODST/A/B002LBGBOK.htm

Or you mean background music? Two games: Tekken 5 and WoW. Play Tekken 5 (or the one for PSP, same thing) and you'll see its greatness. And I mean I did choose to remix WoW music...

I've always loved Alone in the Dark 2 for it's music particularly and then the books.

Otherwise Tyrian & Highway hunter were well known for the music too.

I just got done beating half of Command & Conquer (1995), and the songs were just as good as I remember them.

I always loved Platoon on the C64, man that game had an awesome soundtrack.
I can't believe Silent Hill hasn't been mentioned yet, maybe I missed it but that soundtrack is an absolute nightmare (in a good way).
